Gee, was looking at them for my /7 redo but outa my price range!
I have a set of gages from my '83 R100RT, they are faded but still work but for the odometer (repairable). They have good rubber thingies though.

I'll take some pics later if anyone is interested in them.

WTB: A good condition, stock /6 (or LWB /5) seat, with hinges.

Let me know if you have one.

Edit: Nevermind.. Just received a seat. Thanks!

Getting desperate!

Really need a original or reproduction solo seat for my '72 /5 SWB. Got a 8000 mile trip in two weeks, but don't want to shell out the $400+ for a new one. Please, if you have one or know anyone give me a shout.

Hell, I might even rent one. It just has to look original. No tractor seats or anything of the like, please.

Gotta be for the older, long seat. I don't have the cowled seat.
Check IBMWR: http://marketplace.ibmwr.org/ads/raps

BMW TELEFLEX forkbrace

This fork-brace is in really good condition. I am not sure which model it fits . From what I understand, they are adjustable to a certain extent.

A buddy of mine has one oh his yamaha with 34mm tubes

BMW Kick-Start Transmission - 1981-on Airheads

Posted this over in the fleamarket area, but thought that I would mention it here since it pertains to Old School BMW's...

http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=688149

BMW Airhead Kick-Start Transmission.
(1981-on R-series bikes)

Factory original kickstart gearbox with circlip in place from factory as well.
According to the serial number and prefix letters this was built in 1982 with the kickstart installed at the factory.
(the missing circlip issue is a possibility on the 1984-94(95?) gearboxes)

Detailed photos of the splines in the fleamarket ad and higher res on my SmugMug account.
Last used in my 1986 R65 and shifted smoothly in that bike, stayed in gear properly, no bad noises, no sharps/hard grit on drain plug (just very little fuzz), etc...
Feels like it may have the shift kit in it, but don't recall when those came into service, and don't have the exact history of this unit to say for sure.

See full details in the fleamarket ad.
Thanks!

Not a big deal to convert disc to drum or vice versa. I installed a 75/5 drive in my 79 RS. Contact me if you need further details. Just know that a disc rear drive can easily be converted to drum if you have a drum wheel. Matching worn splines is the biggest issue. They will wear out very fast.
