It looks like the latches are missing to attach them to the bike or are the the small parts you are referring to that are inside the bags?

Im building up a 90/6 but want it to be a 90/5

After a headlight complete with speedo, switch gear, wiring harness . . . and plenty of other /5 bits.

PM me with what you have laying around

If you can ship (Obviouly at my expense) to California I can get it the rest of the way down under

79 RS 20k Barter

I have a 79 R100RS. Purchased 2 years ago at 14.5k. Original Dark Blue Metallic over Light Silver Metallic paint with minor bumps and grinds. Cleans up to a 5 footer or better. Sorted thorughly and run 6k with no issues. Holy function nominal, Airheads.

Don't want to sell just yet. Want to trade down to R65 of same era. Anything from project to something similar in excellent low milage condition like mine. Meet for inspections and negotiations and swap.

Otherwise would also consider 650 or less dual cylinder Triumph Norton or even Jap copies of that style engine. 2 cyl upright rockers or overhead cam type.

If and when summers decides to show it's face around here I will be detailing the RS and get pix.

This is the first tickle on the RS. No list or emails offering cash will be considered. If you want to have a look face to face however, that is possible FOB Spokane. Contact me pmail.

Wirespokes saw this one last year. We rode to the Redmond Rally together last year so he knows of this one more than just pix.

I have a couple of these old Krauser cases for my /7 and with a little bit fiddling they fit the OEM racks on my G/S and GS too.

I dont have the frame latches either, so I have a couple of Barrel Bolts fixed at the top of the block to hold the block into the rack frame.

Hey you guys with the upgraded forks!

WTB R100GS, or R100R forks, wheel, and triple clamps for the project I am working on

Would also consider R80 G/S or ST forks

PM me with details. Thanks!

Any /5 to /7 rear drive can be easily converted drum/disc. The disc rears have all the holes and provisions to install drum brakes. I have a /5 drum rear mounted on my 79 with rear disc. I needed the 32/10 for trailer towing duty.

You did a better job than I. It took me two tries to get it right!
