Do you have a title for the bike? Perhaps it can be transferred to another state. I think that's pretty odd they'd never allow the bike on the road again. California sure comes up with some weird shit!

I'd be looking at one of the title services - but then if it's in the database it's possible that you'd never be able to transfer it back into the state. And transferring an out-of-state bike can be expensive anyway.

I have lien papers on the bike which is the title for now .... i have called sac. dmv and exhusted every road to get it taged, a frame swap is the only way which i seem is a waste cause it is ready to ride now.im losing intrest in it after trying to get it tagged . found a frame for $250 and my friend will swap it for $300 but a new power coat is $400 with a 1 day turn around so i need to talk to the tow yard about getting at least half my money back or just give it back and get all my money back ... it rides fine but rattles at high rpms ...is that normal .

I would like to find a set of 76-84 airhead rockers, shafts, blocks, pushrods, nuts; the whole nine yards.
I have the stuff on a rat bike, but I hate to start stripping it.

I've got a Parabellum Air Balance fairing for sale that I got in a barn deal. I don't have mounting hardware or the windscreen, but Parabellum said they could supply both for about 170 bucks. I have no idea what its worth and its only taking up space. If anyone is interested, feel free to PM with an offer. Pardon the mess. College kid and all that.

R80 G/S Sito Muffler, Fuel Tank R80G/S or early R100GS

Sito Muffler for R80-100GS fits 1981-on

Sito Muffler for R80 G/S to R100GS 1981-on, very nice condition, added ceramic coating which is in fairly good condition, comes w/ custom made exhaust guard. You will need to use your old clamp. Muffler has a nice throaty sound, but not to loud.
Price $185.00 +s&h

BMW R80 G/S fuel tank, Early R100GS, R80 GS, R80ST

Very nice R100GS tank for sale, stripped to bare metal before painting, w/ paint less than 1 yr old, very nice condition, no dents or waves, new BMW emblems, rear seat loop removed from top rear of tank (where the R100GS seat catches at the front) and striped similar to small G/S tank . Used on my G/S, no leaks, very nice paint, original R80G/S blue paint was scanned and mixed for this tank, so color may not be the perfect blue but should be close, petcocks not included, no keys to gas cap, but it opens and closes fine. Inside good but not relined as it wasn't needed. 6.3 gal, vs 5.1 for stock G/S tank.
Inside of tank is in very good condition, not like new but very good. and doesn't need to be lined. Side stripes can be removed if desired with heat from a hair dryer and peeled off.

Only blemish the tank has is a paint bubble on top (see picture), this is the best I can do to show it

Price $375 + s&h

SOLD

What is a Non -revived Junk Title? I've never heard of that before.
Actually the frame you need will be from 74-80, 81-84 had different electrics/mountings, nothing will line up.
70-73 has a different steering rake.
74-mid 75 has no backbone stiffener in the frame, 77 and on is when they added a crossmember in the front, at the top of the engine.
The BEST frame for your bike will be 77-80.
Watch EBAY.
Make sure they have a NON_OPPED title.
If they don't or don't know what one is and the bike is not currently registered, say BUH-BYE.

Email me at wirewrkr@yahoo.com on Monday, I have a CA DMV specialist who we call the "DMV GODDESS".
She knows more about loopholes and procedures than the people at DMV.
She is a professional, charges for what she does., but OH MY DOG is it worth it.
Robert,

Hey Robert,

Before you head out the door: What was the steering neck angle on the /5 frames?

I didn't know they were different?

So just say you got the frame as one of the "parts" and then put a motor back into it..I doubt the motor number is on the non-revived thing. Advise them the frame was just one component and you want to get an assembled title for it. This would be an easy fix in Oregon.

I BELIEVE THE FRAME CAN NO LONGER EVER GET TAGED AGAIN ,IF I HAD A PINK FOR IT AND NOT LIEN PAPERS I COULD GET IT TITLED IN az. since i do have a house there , but they wont tag it with lien papers .... if pick a part would give me a letter head with a statement of facts that it was done in error i could get it taged in ca. where i live but they said they did not put that non revived junk .. on there . but ca. sac. says they did

I've got a front fender mount and brace for /5 motorcycles. This is from a 73 75/5. It's in excellent shape with very little rust. Should polish up VERY nicely. Asking $60 shipped ConUS. PM ME!
