/7 advance unit

looking for a decent used advance unit for a '78 R80/7. while adjusting the points i realized one of the small spring posts was busted off and the spring missing. i assume i need to replace the whole thing since the post was busted. can't really afford a $300 new unit. anyone have an extra? thanks a million!

WTB single seat 100GS

Any one have a single seat for a 92 ish R100 GS, any shape, would like to send it to a seat maker for rebuild and would rather not buy new, turnaround and have the cover and foam redone.

Thanks

Boge shocks

I replaced these Boge shocks on my R80/7. Not sure if they are rebuildable or not, but thought I'd offer them up here in case anyone wants them. They are obviously old, dirty and worn. $50 including shipping?

A couple item:
I have a brand new pair of Avon Road Rider AM26 tires in Airhead sizes of:
100/90/19 front, and 120/90/18 rear.
These sell for around $200 for the pair. I would like to get $100 plus shipping

Also, I have a front, and rear fender for a "78 R100/7 in good condition. The rear has tail, and turn signals. Make offer! Thanks, Eric

Early last year, one of those seats sold for over US$1300 on ebay, and was followed up soon after by another at more'n $1000. Prices have been more sensible lately however.

1967 Norton for sale in Maryland

Sorry no picture. I'm posting this here for lack of a better place to pass this information on. The bike is at a Pawn Shop in Laurel, Md. It was originally pawned but now is for sale as the people defaulted, I suppose. I've watched this bike for more than a month, waiting to find out how much it would be or if the original owners would show up. The asking price is $6000. It's at Superpawn, 10119-A Washington Blvd. This is the main drag in Laurel. Otherwise known as US Rt 1.

I'm told it's a 1967 it's a 650. I do not know Norton's well enough myself to say anything about it other than it is pre-unit construction. I think it's in original condition and pretty nice original IMHO. Odometer says 28xx. That's twenty eight hundred miles. I don't know if I believe that but the pawn shop owner wants me to believe it. I'm just reporting what I was told.

When I look at Nortons I notice that on some of them the engine is canted forward and on others the engine cylinders stick more straight up. If it makes a difference, it should, these cylinders stick more straight up.

The phone # is 301-362-3900, I didn't get the guys name.
