I'm the proud owner of the first S10 in Romania that replaced a 08 XT660Z Tenere. History repeating I ordered the bike as soon as it was available on-line. Same as with the small Tenere I am very pleased with the bike. It has exceeded all my expectation by far. 760 km since this last Friday delivery. Extraordinary!
PS Picture will follow as soon as I will figure out how to upload :(

I bet those few shots have caused palpitations amongst 99% of the posters on this thread.
So much for the critics...

Great pics!! Pity they'll be buried in this thread... Maybe it's time to start a Show us your XT1200Z SuperTenere thread!

I'm going to move these pics to a separate thread now that the bikes are in owners' hands.

Would be nice to leave a few of them in this thread though, to show it is really usable Off-Road.

Like this one :-)

Really makes me long for another stay in Ekonomat :-)

PS... We will be in Romania next year and the year beyond doing the Transfarangas pass. I wonder where the 'Transalpina' is located?

To the west of the Fageras in the Paring mountains, so you could start with the transalpina, then go east to the Fageras, visit Bran for the Touristic highlight of Romania, then visit Peles if you like cult Barok, its a very nice Tour with Guides telling nice stories, and after that you could spend day's playing in the White bit of the map just West of Sinaia, and visit the Olympic village up there to rest and eat a bit.

That was one of the Gems of Romania for me you really feel al the hard work no fuss attitude that produced olympiv artist like Nadia Comaneci, at first it looks quite derilict, but hey its not about apearences (just like the Tenere :-)

I'd be happy for you if I didn't hate you right now.
