You young blokes forget....

If it's got wheels or tits.. sooner or later it is going to give you trouble!

And....

No matter how hot she looks.. somewhere out there is a bloke who was glad to see the back of her!

Sooooooooo ............ getting back on topic. I have just done my first 600 miles, having taken the bike to France with Mrs Tim for the weekend and I must say that I am very happy with it. But I'm sure that you don't need me to tell you how great it is!

I am very impressed with how light and easy to ride it is at low speed and even wheeling it around there is non of the top-heavy felling that it's going over if it goes more than a few degrees from vertical.

Fuel economy is very impressive, 51.2 mpg (Imperial gallons).

I have corrected the seat tilt by adding 1/4 inch spacers to the seat latch and the front seat supports

and have added an extra warning light for the OE Yamaha fog lights as I found that I could not see the one built in to the PIAA light switch.

I found that I got a lot of buffeting from the stock 'screen in the high position so I will be shopping around for a higher 'screen and may also consider the Yamaha winglets.

As I said I'm very happy with the bike and better still, Mrs Tim, who, having enjoyed many thousands of miles on a variety of bikes had lost her mojo when it came to road riding really enjoyed the Super Ten and seems to have re-kindled her ridingness.

The MRA X-screen flat out works.. for me, it creates a quiet zone and I'm very pleased with it.

interesting variation of the seat levelling mod

in my opinion, the winglets helped quite a bit to reduce wind

Congratulations for the new bike, Tim.

That's funny : I crossed that same Langeais bridge on the Loire river on my own S10 the day before you !
But it's a faster blue one
