Snail,crab and nuts

For the time being the nut, the Hermit crab will be joing Mr. Nut soon (the Holy Snail is in a better place these days, as he was kidnapped by landscapers).

Mr Nut looking for a hermit crab

I took a ride to Valley Forge to visit Mr Nut.
The tag shot:

I retrieved the Nut from the fence behind the statue:

I probably should have thoroughly read the Mid Atlantic Tag rules beforehand.
I moved the Nut, but he's still in Pennsylvania. He's not far from I-95. This isn't a historic or scenic location, but if you own an older Japanese bike it's a good idea to know the phone # and/or location of this place

THE NEW TAG SHOT:

And Mr Nut is behind the guardrail to the left of the door

I hope this is acceptable.

Come back to Philly

Come on back to Philly. As an added incentive, this tag is only a couple blocks from Lou Turks.

With any luck today i will trade my 690smc for a nice clean 990 adventure. I just wish i did not have to throw in the Klr to make the deal work. But cash is tight. And how many bikes does a guy really need? As long as I still have my ratmax by my side. I am good. If the deal goes thru I will want to do a big tag run. Or a few of them.

Right? I love it too. But I think everything I love about the Klr, I will the 990. The almost triple the hp will just make it perfect. If the the guy backs out, It won't break my heart. I love the Klr. And I know I will miss the 690smc. But I am in touring mode. I want a 99o ir GSA by winter. You know. Riding season.

I actaully made a play for it and got within 1 mile of the Mr Nut and my cell phone died and I had no NAV with me and couldnt find the damn place. I would like to get it rolling again and get it out of the Philly area. Maybe this weekend I will see what I can do.

I'll check to see if it's still there. I wish someone would grab it. I'm getting a bad reputation as a "tag strander".

Your new name can be Nutstrander!

Ovoid, if you grab it, placement somewhere west of Philly or Wilmington would be nice as I am headed that direction on Monday.

Check back tomorrow...I'll be heading out early in the morning to miss the craziness of traffic in this area.
