Been too long between Mexico rides.

You gonna join in or just sit there and take pot shots??

And try to stay out of the way of Mexican drivers this time!

Very enjoyable read. Looking forward to the rest of the trip.

Another day down. We decided to come to the Huasteca region, and so glad we did. We hit a very light drizzle, more like just precipitation from thick fog as we were making our way up the mountain. Yesterday was pretty chilly and we had our liners and light cold weather gloves all day. We are supposed to be in San Miguel tomorrow, however we haven't stuck to the plan at all on this trip! We aren't plannin on heading north until Friday, and that will be superslab the whole way, so still not sure what to do with our extra time.

Pilot815, sounds like you guys are having a ball

...just make sure you have a full tank of gas and a fresh air filter before you go too far down the road on that thing

Just north of SLP on the highway to Matehuala. The gas stations along that highway have neat things. You might remember my picture with a jetstar a couple years ago. There is also a real old pemex truck at one of them.

Probably will be, all the other riders will be about a checkpoint or two ahead!

Now I'm going to hell for sure for that one!
