I would love to wait here for ya, but I gotta fly home to see the chiropractor and a faith healer after this "Baja dirt recon"

Have a great time in Zippo, Guys!

When the weather turns, I'm loading up the KTM and heading for Telluride.

PM me off thread if someone wants to get in on running the Colorado BCDR and researching local craft brew pubs

Baja: now that I have an idea what's where (and what to avoid ) we can plan a Baja run while we're in Colorado

La Paz to Cabo mañana

Is Sammy Hagar still alive?

(Or is Cabo Wabo to be avoided?)

Los Barriles is a cool little town with free camping by the beach, just past the RV park. Joe's deli does good sandwiches too.

But I digress, welcome to La Paz!
Nice port city!
I feel so guilty!
Just to confirm I said PJ not BJ. There's an amazing beach if you go past the ferry port in La Paz and keep going. You'll get to a nice beach with a car park. Climb over the cliff or go around it and there is a stunning hidden cove there. Well worth a visit.

That is why we ride, have meals and talk photography and other important things together Michael.

You might want to get an MRI of that knee before you let a chiropractor start wrenching on it. If it is painful to operate the foot controls of the moto I suspect it may be beyond even the best chiros pay grade. In the mean time: ice, ice, ice.

I will be interested to hear your impression of the Cabos. I gave them a wide Gringolandia berth. Have heard they have become Palm Springs by the Sea complete with tennis bracelets. Not my idea of Mexico or fun.

I was joking with the guy that owns Baja Stirfry or something like that in Ciudad Constitucion. "How come you didn't go to Cabo?" he asked. "Too many touristas" I said. We both laughed about that. "If I wanted to hang out with Gringos, I woulda stayed home"

Some buses and trucks were hijacked in Guadalajara today and set on fire to disrupt traffic so anyone coming this way may want to stay abreast of the local news in that area. The roadblocks have been on the perifirico. It usually passes in one day, but then who knows.

Made it to Land's End in Cabo

Loving the deep blue sea, dense concentration of pubs and restaurants, and cheekychic vibe

1/2 block from Cabo Wabo

Tecate to Cabo, glad to be experiencing it

Thoughts on off road Baja with riders 10 times better than I later after a few Topo Chicos
