A Citizenship Question for you Folks!

Does a seven year old American Citizen have the right for his Mexican National mother to live in the US with him and to have a job so she can provide for him? Thanks!

That's an interesting question. Remember though, a job is not a right, nor is citizenship (unless you're born here).
Now before I get flamed, I'll be the first to say our immigration policies are pretty screwed up.

Yeap if you are a 7y/o American Citizen and want to bring your mother of another nationality you have the right to get her in line to the "process" of getting her a visa

I expect that is correct; however the mother doesn't have the "right" to be an American citizen or the right to a job regardless of her child's citizenship status.
She may go through the process and hope for the best and I wish her success.

Not sure but I think the answer is yes. Need to consult an immigration lawyer, these things change a lot. I have a Mexican friend with expired papers. He was able to stay in the US after a two year waiting period following his son's marriage to a US citizen. The son, a Mexican Natl, had married a Russian who was gifted US citizenship because NASA wanted her parents, who had been engineers in the Russian space program.

People,
Its a two part question; maybe three. One blanket answer doesn't suffice.
