Yep. We're both too far along for pretense!

Well, since I'm cancelling my trip to Port A I could make a weekend (Fri-Mon)
coastal run (La Pesca?). I need to be in Cd. Vic Monday pm, April 26th.
You'd be riding back solo unless we had more company. Arte?

Just putting it out there.

Sorry we won't be there but we'll warm the tarmac for ya.

We'll be in Belize by then. We'll raise a glass or two in your honor.

If things keep getting weird around here I may ride with you to Belize.

In that case I hope things keep getting weird.
Love to have you along.
Share Mexico and the danger is half and the rewards double.

While riding in Mexico in 2008, I stopped at a roadside restaurant near the famous volcano Popocatepetl, in the state of Puebla near Mexico City.

Pic off the internet. Popo was covered in clouds as I passed by.

I ordered the chicken mole. Very good, but more interesting was the "History of Mole" that was included in the menu.

Turns out there was a convent nearby, and the nuns were milling some chili's and other spices. The smell was mouth watering. A nun, recently arrived from Europe and not yet having complete command of her Spanish grammar, spoke up.

"¡Ay, María, que bíen moles!"
Everybody cracked up and made fun of her.

In Spanish, the verb to mill / grind is moler. But it's an irregular verb. The bad grammar nun assumed it to be a regular verb and chose tu moles. It's actually tu mueles.

Thus the name mole stuck forever.

Read: "Ask to see her health card."

The working girls in Nuevo Laredo and Tijuana are supposed to get a check up weekly. I assume that it's the same way around here.

Eastern Kentucky, particularly around Hazard and Pikeville are pretty tough.
No kidding! I worked in Lexington for 18 months back in '95.
