![]() Shot I took of Lago Chapala @ Ajijic a little while ago. My man Kiko suggested dinners at Four's, which was, in the words of the prophet, "Off the damn chart!" Very nice ride today from Sayulita to Ajijic (ah-hee-heeck), stopped in Talpa de Allende, and traversed the site, east of Mascota, of my only major motor cycle crash in Mexico. I have video to be posted in my ride report. |

Good one Bato!
SR, I know what you are going through. I think I' ll get some Gucci decal paper and apply it to some panniers and keep the evil Suburbans and Escalades from attacking! |

Seeing all these cool pics makes me want to quit my job and take up riding full time.I know I know thats probably not a very intelligent thing to do.I dont have any current plans to go to mexico so by the time I get there that resort will probably be built
Its kind of ironic as Im only 38 nd I know capitalism makes people rich and a living but I cant help to think that it seems every elite corporation and multi national companies just screw up everything good and simple in life.IM not against rich individuals wh have worked hard to get where they are thats not my point at all.wether here or there I try to support the local business's over big business.I hope to be able to retire and go somewhere simple and not all glammed out an millionaireville.Way uncle sam keeps thieving out of our paychecks, and taxing the crap out of us, its getting harder and harder to see my dream come to fruition and the hard reality rearing its ugly head is most of my middle class brethren in the next 30s years is gonna be a banana republic or povertyville here in the us if we keep on this leftist road.reason I want to get out sooner then later.happy and safe riding and have a cocktail or 2 for me![]() ![]()

Good job, Trice. It saved me from making any sarcastic, mean, comments.

![]() Love this shot. Very busy coffee house in Sayulita, Café El Expresso. Excellent joint. Miguelito and I meet there for caffeine and B-fast before today's ride. Somehow I get the entire busy staff to pose for this shot. To me, priceless. |

Rebel, I moved here to live at the age of 33.
My wife is from here so that gave me a head start. Taking the plunge means you say goodbye to some things and hola to some other things. I learned Spanish without going to school, found work, and started living. It can be done, but you have to really want it and be willing to work without a net. It feels good, beats working like a madman and then finding a retirement littered with health issues, etc... I don' t think anyone ever regretted what they did in life, I think people regret what they never did. Someone once said something to the effect that, "Life is a theatrical play with no rehearsal, so laugh, cry, sing, and dance every day like it will be your last, because when the curtain finally falls, there will not be any applause, only regrets". So let the good times roll. |

Riding partner in Mexico
Around January 20th I'll be crossing into Mexico and taking a 20 day trip to panama city. I have a rough route planned out starting with a ride through copper canyon. I was wondering if anyone out there was interested in riding together.....or if anyone has any suggestions.?
All the best, nick |
