Gas, food, lodging... Copper Canyon... Where you wanna stay?

Rule of thumb... BMW: Bring More Wampum. There is a really nice hotel on the canyon rim that last time I checked was $250 US/night.

Thanks, very helpful!

I know I can only aspire to be a member of the "Is Mexico Safe? Riding and Blogging Club", plus I don't even have a clever screen name or nickname or handle or whatever it's called...yet. But I can always hope!

In any case, riding to Terlingua on Saturday, then crossing at Presidio on Sunday and heading for Creel and five or six days or riding. But I'll have to be super careful... the R1200GSM is way too pirty to get dirty.

Yeah, I tried going there this weekend. 1300P/night. Probably more if you try to pay in USD

That didn't mean you have to stay there.

Bato, Andy, Adrian, and I had lunch right on the beach at another locale of the same locally owned chain of seafood restaurants.

Trice, you are going to really enjoy the one on the beach, especially the blonde lead singer of the band that plays rock and blues there on Friday afternoons. Elle se llama Sra. Taco del Ojo y tambien tienen sus pantalones de mezclia pintados ja,ja!
