It has become my principle pic source as of late. Sure can't get that kinda stuff out of my camera!

A Few New Ones

A few from this weekend. This place is called al Canyon de las Cabras probably because only cabras and dumb asses would go there.

Looking at the GPS log. it took us 8 hours to ride 14 km of this stuff. Good fun, good adventure!

Youth, money, and time. Isn't that just the trick! Huevones? or Huevotes? Maybe Pendejos?

Did I mention that my motorcycle is still in El Canyon de Cabra?

I drenched it in water around 6:00. Spent about an hour trying to get it started until it got dark, and I ran down the starter battery. Then I hiked it out of there about 6 km, and got home around 11:30 PM.

I think it had both water in the carb and at least one electrical short. It probably just needs to dry out. We are headed back up tomorrow morning for a rescue mission.

BTW: If there is a group of Internet savvy cowboys out there reading this with a cutting torch and some pack animals. If you can pack the bike out of that place by noon tomorrow before I get there, you deserve to own it, it's all yours. PM me I'll give you the title and the key!

No no, just lucky to know a few good guys that I can do these kinds of adventures with. I'm sure you recognize Miguel on the 300Exc. That is the trail! What you see is what you get.

Hmm. That cheap dirt bike I was offered this afternoon "as-is, where-is" suddenly doesn't seem like such a good deal

SR, I bow in your general direction!

Seriously Craneguy, if you are interested, I'll extend my offer to you too. If you want to pick up the bike, it will be at this coordinate until noon tomorrow.
