Jerry, I'll be thinking of you when I attend the annual Police Officer's Memorial Ceremony in the city where I live this coming June.

I was a guest speaker three years ago, on the twentieth anniversary of my kid brother's death in the line of duty.

Here's a pic of my 2012 tour. I did 6000 miles in the first 3 months including a 2400 mile trip the day I picked her up. The klr got her fair share as well. Awesome bike and she does handle like a sport bike. I do put the trunk on if I take out a chick.

And taking some off-hand remark that some guy typed on an internet forum that personal is a bit much as well.

Nice! I love my Vision. One bad ass bike. I get more interest and comments from people about this bike than any I've had before. It's the Vision Delay Factor! Also, you are supposed to snap action shots, not stop in the middle of the road at night for a picture. You'll get flattened by a texter.

Nothing personal meant. My boss also lost his son in the line of duty as a sheriff's deputy in Michigan a few years ago.

But around here, if you ride motorcycles and drive a hot rod, cops are a real PITA.

This is my four wheeler, and it attracts a lot of unwelcome attention from the police. It also does very well at the local drag strip.

Out of context. I would rarely ever just walk up to a cop on the street or in a parking lot, like I did to ask about the Victory (which was NOT in my town) I talk to cops at work all the time, they come to MY jobsite. They are not a threat to me there, and for some reason, seem to hang around longer than necessary. When they bring a vehicle in, they usually have to "wait" for someone to come and pick them up. I have rarely been harassed by cops in my city, especially if I am in a vehicle they recognize. It's cops in other cities, highway patrol, and the sheriffs department I have all the trouble with. Do some research on the Maricopa County AZ sheriff's department, maybe you'll get the idea.

I do have to wonder what the general consensus is about cops (traffic cops) by every single member of this forum. Most cops seem to hate motorcyclists. They will ignore someone in a plain looking sedan, but hassle someone on a motorcycle over any little thing. At least they do around here.

I owned the #75 1999 Victory V92 in KYSO blue for about three years, I loved that bike, great riding machine. I however traded it off and added a Harley to the stable. The only real reason for letting the Vic go was the dealer support for the early bike was a little weak.....I would still like to have a Kingpin or Jackpot in the garage.
