I love the looks of the Classic and the new Boardwalk, too

But I sat on the new Indians at the IMS and they are amazing!

I took delivery yesterday, so here you go:

It has the stock pipes, which are a little quiet for my taste. This will be rectified eventually.

Otherwise, it's just fine!

I thought the same thing about my Cross Country. Took delivery in December....rode it around and thought its quiet but I guess its not that bad. Two weeks later I ordered exhaust....couldn't get over it.

For rumble without breaking the bank I went with the Witchdoctors muscle mufflers.

several bikes ago I had a Roadliner and really enjoyed it a lot.... didn't really see another cruiser getting my attention.
Then a few days ago I was in one of my local shops kicking tires and sitting on everything in there while it snowed outside - and found the Boardwalk to be very comfortable and as good a fit as anything I've sat on for a while.

Got me to looking - there are 2013 (first year) bikes on Cycletrader for around $10k. Same way I ended up with the Roadliner was buying leftover new at $9,999.... so I could see it happening again.

Do the Witchdoctors work okay with the stock tune? Did you have to add a fuel controller or get your dealer to download the Victory Stage One mapping?

Thanks! I think the colour really suits the bike.

It's such a shame they're only selling the XR now as the "Classic", ie dressed up with studded seat, screen, wire wheels, two-tone paint etc. Simpler's better in my view (and as mine's a 2012 model, a good deal cheaper)!

I have just bought a 2009 hammer s, it has the performance pipes, unsure if its adjusted to suit but it FLIES. Rode it briefly, ten miles, today. My first big cruiser, over 300 bikes to date and 9 in the stable. The big rear true makes it reluctant to turn, almost caught me out on my initial pull away, but MAN! WHAT A NOISE.

Congratulations!

I really like the look of the Boardwalk, but I wanted a bike that'd be more comfortable for two-up touring.

I bought a 2014 Cross Country 8Ball in December, almost a month ago. Since I live in Southern CA, I have ridden it every day.

Traded in my HD Electra Glide for it.

A friend of mine recommended this forum, I'm looking for tips on day trips and longer.
