There should be ratios stamped on the final drive. Also the speedometer ratios will be different if they match different final drive ratios. The transmissions all came with the same gearing stock. That does not mean someone could not have changed the first or fifth gear ratios in one or more of them at some time.

If they are all R100GS they should all have a final drive ratio of 34/11 and the same transmission. The GS's may appear faster that GSPD due to their weight difference.

So unless somebody messed around with a short 1st of long 5th in the transmission or added a European R80GS final drive (32/10) ... your bikes have the same power train from engine to rear wheel. I don't know where the final drives are stamped on the paralever.

Some of the above is fact, some is fiction, some is my personal imagination and some is just simple truth. [me]

... i'm not touring around the world, but neither are most of the guys i see running overloaded spam cans ... [bmwblake]
