Question So long Twin City Bmw

Well Its been open since 1998 and today it closed its doors for the last time.I have worked for Twin City Bmw for the last 5 years as a master tech and I'am thankfull for the freinds and customers who stuck with us.i wish they would have givin all of our customers notice but the decision was made and they shut the doors.Thanks again and I will think about opeing my own shop.Jason

seems to be more than normal this year....christmas season didnt allow many to make it thru til sping. best of luck.....a master tech is always valuable to someone. unfortunately, not always paid commensurate with value, but that is another story.

Well sales has been down and service went slow but the say they have a better deal in the works with honda and need the space.All I know is what they told me 10 min to 3 on sat before they shut the doors.

Heard this morning that our local BMW shop-Twin City Cycles in Savoy,il. has closed as of Saturday.Anyone know for sure?cjack?

That sucks. And unfortunately it is the norm for more than a couple dealerships this past year.

May be a good time to fire up the network of satisfied customers and do some work on your own? A good BMW mechanic can be hard to find.
