Buenos dias

Just discovered a leaking seal on my YSS rear shock, guessing it is not going to get any better where would be a place to get this fixed preferably in Mexico ?

Gracias amigos

Hermosillo

your still in Caborca? Head to Hermosillo.. don't know any specific moto mechanics, but you should be able to find one. All so for any more supplies and maps. I won't be in Hermosillo until Thursday.

If you're close to the border you could always head up to Tuscon, plenty of options there.

Probably by far the easiest option. If you already have a TVIP, don't cancel it when you leave. Keep it and use it again. Finding the right parts will be far easier and faster in the US. Labor to fix it will cost you more though, as well as where ever you're sleeping while you wait. Talk to Klaus at EPM performance. I think he's the main importer for YSS in the US. They're based out of New Jersey though, so I'm not sure how they faired in the recent hurricane. My YSS had some problems in Argentina and Klaus was very helpful in getting parts down to me as well as explaining how to repair it. In my case the shaft seal was an odd size that's not used on any showa/kyb/wp shocks so nobody had them. http://yss-usa.com/

Tucson

Tucson is an excellent option only a couple hundred miles from Hermosillo. I had YSS shocks put on in Tucson for my KLR before heading to Costa Rica, if you need help let me know.
