Garmin Zumo 660 mount
Question: How secure is the Zumo 660 mount by itself? Is it safe to go off road with it without dropping the GPS? Or is it worth getting the Touratech option?
Thanks,

I would not want my garmin held on by the oem plastic latch, may or may not hold. The locking touratech is a nice piece, spendy but solid.

The stock Garmin mount for the 660 will NOT survive much abuse off road. Mine broke on rough paved road of Tbilisi. When I opened it up to see if I could repair, the broken piece of plastic was about 1/16" thin.... Get a metal mount, a locking one is good for anti theft too.
