Question: Posting images from an iPhone

Probably not in the right forum - - -whateva :)

Anybody know how to post/attach a pic using an iPhone?

It appears that you cannot attach from the photo album on the phone, so I uploaded a pic to Photobucket - -but can't figure out how to paste the pic's URL into the "insert image" text box?

I have photobucket, and smugmug. Neither seem to work as I can't figure out how to cut and paste a link using the iPhone.

Posting this from the iPhone. I got an app for imageshack which let's
me copy the link for self-uploaded pics, but they only show up as link when I put in the IMG tags

I only had this thing for a week, maybe someone else has an idea?

I learned how to copy the link - but how did you paste?????

Write a few letters into the reply window. Then tap and hold on the text you wrote, then let go. The "Copy" balloon should pop up.

Ok, looks like I got it too, now:

1. Open the image in a new tab
2. Tap and hold the image, let go and you get the option to "copy".
3. Go back to the ADV tab, open a new reply and hit the insert image button. You'll get the pop-up prompting for a image URL.
4. Enter a single letter and hit "done".
5. Back in the reply window, you now have the IMG tags with a letter in between. Tap on the letter to select and paste. This should get you the image URL wrapped in the IMG tags.

G'day Flood, I've been trying these instructions and can't get them to work with picasa. Do your image URL's read something like mine or are they

completely different (on my mac to get image off picasa to adv I use embed
image link about 500 characters long)
can't get the embed age link on th iPhone.

maybe there is a small point missing in instructions.
Bloody iPhone drives me mad some days.
