Thumb Renazco... exceeded expectations

Very rarely does a product meet expectations much less exceed them.
Well, Renazco far exceeded my expectations. And believe me when I say I had high expectations for a $300 seat rebuild.
The materials and colors were exactly what I wanted.
The firmness of the foam is perfect.
The seat height and shape are perfect.
The turnaround time was great, FedEx was in possession of my seat longer than Renazco was.

Gray suede top to cut down on absorption of the New Mexico desert sunshine and get some air circulation, black carbon fiber vinyl sides to blend with the black plastic.
Looks awesome on the bike.

Good looking bike there, glad to hear you like the seat. It is on my short list of mods to do to the 990. Thanks for the pics!!!

Very cool, I might do that even if it means shipping all the way to the states for me. I really love it when a guy like that puts up a shop and just puts out pure 100% quality like in the good old days when washing machines used to last 30 years. I have the deepest respect for guys like that.

Wow that grey looks great on your bike!

Agree 100%.

I rode from Atlanta to Denver in the last few days on mine and never once even thought about my butt.

I also have one on my Husqvarna and it made a world of difference on that bike as well. I consider it the number one best mod I've done to the 610 (and I've done a bunch to it).

stock vs. renazco on 610:

Looks so good I almost want to wash the bike... almost.
Snowy mix tomorrow would just make it look like crap again so I'll wait 'till spring.

very happy with mine too, bought it second hand form an inmate here, unreal quality and comfort, have pulled a 2400km ironbutt, most of it in the rain and it was just a dream, not slipery, warmer, amazing!
On another note, when I got my seat I had a couple of questions about maintenance and send Renasco an email about it, James himself replied and was extremely helpful.
I will definately buy another one just because

My build week is Apr 12, having 30 in of snow on the ground right now makes the wait a little easier.

Eek

I can't wait, my build date is May 5th...

The winter weather here in OK has been crazy this year. So far it's the 7th snowiest year on record. This sucks big time.

I put a H2W jet kit in, canisterectomy, SAS removal, cats cut out of stock exhaust on the 950 and no time to sync the carbs and take it for a ride

Worse? Found a great '02 KTM 520 exc deal and have had it for about 3 weeks with not one inch of riding

I'm ready for nice weather and 2 wheels...

I have same situation now. Build week April 12. and snow almost 1m.
I hope they are in schedule. I'm going to Ukraine and Romania carpathian mountains in the beginning of May and it would be nice to sit on new seat

The seats look great.

How long in advance you you have to reserve to get a build date?

These guys look good too and promise to have it done in two weeks.

Thoughts?

Talked to them last week I wanted a seat before my Yukon/Alaska trip in June, sadly delivery would not be until July so I guess I will wait until next winter. Sure seemed like nice folks to deal with though, you guys are pissin me off with your fancy saddles
