My seat is at XPC right now getting "the treatment"! Should have it back next week. I am hoping it is as good as the work James does!

I shipped it out 02-Feb-2010 and they told me they are stitching the cover now and it will ship out the end of this week possible early next week.

Figure about a 3 week turn around.

I am getting ready to go to a project in SE Wyoming for 6 to 9 months so I am sure that a more comfortable seat is going to a good thing!

I will update when I get it back and can give an impression.

I have just over 19,000 miles on this saddle, still looks great and feels great!! Gets wet all the time, no problem! I do treat it once a year with James' water proofing, (that he gives you for free!!) The absolute best $350.00 I have spent!!

Initial deposit was sent on 8/31/09, build date was the week of 1/18/10, received completed seat on 2/10/10.
Patience is a virtue and you will be rewarded.
I knew what the wait times were, so I planned my build around winter and the holidays when I don't get much riding done anyway. Worked out great.

mixed review

Overall I am pleased with my Renazco and James was nice to deal with no doubt. I am just up the way so went and dropped off the seat pan and picked up the finished product. My friend ordered at the same time for his S and his seat is beautiful and perect, but my seat and my brother-in-laws were not built as discussed and written down with changes to foam and actual seat material. When I picked up my seat he said 'I put extra soft foam on top becuase I remember you said you wanted that.' I never said that and it wasn't on the back of the seat pan where he wrote out the specs with me. The seat is comfy but it is not what I wanted exactly. My brother-in-law about the same time had one built for his 525 and the seat material was different than what was ordered but he was doing mex-2-can and settled for what he got because he needed it asap. So... my only advice is to be overly clear on the build materials and specs to get what you want, but otherwise as others have said the quality and function are awesome.

Something must have been wrong with my email address and it went in there spam folder..I send a couple messages to them back in 07 when I wanted a seat for my R12 and I sent a couple wanting info on my 1150Gs..if they could make a seat or not..I just figured they didn't mess with bmw's cause I got no response at all..

They pm'd me right away after they saw the post though..so I hope to get an answer..

I'm a KTM fan..and have owned them..hope that counts
