Patience is a virtue and you will be rewarded.
I knew what the wait times were, so I planned my build around winter and the holidays when I don't get much riding done anyway. Worked out great.
Thanks for the reply

+1

I specifically waited until the end of the riding season to order mine knowing that the bike was going to be sitting all winter. I didn't expect my date to end up in April but you take what you can get.

I have 2 seats so it's not going to keep me from riding while James has one.

Got the call from XPC last night that my seat was ready and they would get it shipped out. They were spot on with their estimate on build time. Actually got it done faster than they claimed.

Just so everyone knows. Jim, one of the XPC owners, is a fellow bike nut. I have never met the man personally but He spent probably 15 minutes on the phone with me BSing about Super Cross and riding in general. I am sure he had more important things to do but you could tell that his love of all things motorcycle runs deep.

They are very accessible and will answer any questions that you may have. I had checked what Jim thought was an incorrect box on my order form and he immediately got with me. It was something simple but it shows that they care about what they are doing. He was absolutely correct. Having filled out the form on PDF writer I put the X in the wrong place.

for XPC so far. Hope their seat mod's live up to my expectations.

I'm glad that XPC is doing a good job. For me... I'll gladly wait for and gladly pay James to make me a seat.

I'm very happy with my Renazco. I walked into my local dealer and saw one on a used adv that was for sale. I ended up giving the shop a hundred bucks and my stock seat. No down time and a $100. It doesnt get any better IMO

Great to hear about the seat and how it works so well - I am sending mine in to James next week as I am scheduled for the week of March 8th (I'll sell my spot for a 1000 bucks :) ) -

Seriously, I've been on the wait list since last September or October - my KTM 690 Enduro seat is killing me - I removed some foam as I wanted to get the seat a bit lower and what comfort the seat originally offered is totally gone - I've ridden the bloody thing for 7K miles and now it's time to get the new one -

Good to hear all the stuff I've heard about James is true -

Steve

First "real" test of my Renazco seat.
300 mile day of mixed highway, gravel and muddy technical jeep trails.
Temps from the low 40's up to near 70.
Worked perfectly. No monkey-butt whatsoever.
