1150 GS Skid Plate
Rick, today I received the skid plate for me 1150GS. A couple of comments: First, thanks for the quick delivery time. It seems I just stuck the check in the mail and the skid plate is already here! Secondly, the workmanship and finish on the plate are outstanding. I'm leaving early tomorrow on a business trip and will be back in a few days so I will not be able to add it to my bike until I get back, but I'll try to post a picture of the installed skid plate when I get it on later this week. Great product! Great protection at a great price. A big thank you Rick.
On a secondary note, with the quality of your work I'm going to sell my newly purchased TT luggage rack and order a custom one from you in the very near future! Thanks again. Great job. Frank Snyder |

Rick,
Received the stuff today. 8 days from when you mailed, not bad from your place to mine. Mounted everything this afternoon as I was changing oil in prep for the BMW RA rally next week. Looks great !! Thanks for your service. Pat

Hey all - a quick suggestion for the front engine plate:
Zarly and I were changing out his oil and had to remove the two lower bolts that he had bolted from the engine guard to the skidplate. Unfortunately those bolts were rusted and took some work to get off. When it came time to reassemble we just threw a couple of zip ties on there. Don't know how long they'll last, but at least they'll be easy to remove!

Rear Rack Extension
Rick,
Stopped by Wally World, the house that Sam built, on my way home after getting called in last night. Spent a whopping $0.96 on a black and decker bit set that included a #3 square head bit! The rear rack is (now securely ) on the PIG. The sad, lonely and unridden pig . Two more weeks of torture then I can get back in the saddle ! I do want to say that this product (as have all of your products thus far) ROCKS! I love it. It should make a huge difference in my travelling and packing capabilities. Just another thought. I really like the finish. (The Rhino lining). I think that would be a GREAT addition to the skid plate and engine guard products, too. I am certain there would be a market for it if you offerred it as an option. Have a safe and enjoyable holiday. Josh Tampa

Thanks, Rick!
Bought a black powder-coated skid plate and rear license plate holder from Rick for my R1150GS - nice products at a fair price, and no duty (only in Canada, you say...?)! GB
