Seems like if you're not a proficient texter while riding, there's only one way to get better.

You guys are killing me with the typewriter jokes!

But seriously, getting back on topic, I have noticed that young women (16 - 24) are all very proficient at texting. Maybe the safest thing to do is ride with a young woman on the back and have her do all the texting.

One like this would work nicely:

She looks like she does not weigh much. She appears to be very flexible too, so she would not have trouble getting on or off the bike.
Just making some suggestions...

Eric

Pissed Are you guys really serious?????

I mean texting while riding. Seems counterproductive to riding safely to put it politely.
But really I hope anyone who texts while they ride meets there end doing it. It's bad enough all these assholes doing it in their cages, running down anything in their path. But now I have to look for retards on bikes too.

Please flame away, tell me I'm the suckey rider cuz I can't (wouldn't) text while I ride. Meanwhile please don't kill any one while you're texting your reply.

I wondered how long it would take before someone with a broken funny bone would post.

I tried texting while riding the motorcycle, but it was just too distracting. Every time someone texted me I had to put down my beer so I could reply! Sheesh!

Jeeze, relax! Have you tried texting? Just look up once in a awhile, no big deal! What are you afraid of someone turning left in front of you or something?

Naw nothng like that.
I mean like when that sixteen year old kid tuned in front of three bikes that were going 55 mph last year down the street from my house while he was texting, killing dad and making mom a parapeligic, right in front of their sons eyes. I thought to myself: self, I can't wait to text while I ride!!!

The kid admitted he never saw the bikes cuz he was texting. All he got was six month's probation, with the condition that his record would be exsponged when he turned 18.
Yeah that sealed the deal on texting for me. How else can you murder someone and have be swept under the rug.
I wonder if I shoot some one with my gun while texting if that would be so quickly dismissed an accident.

I really hope you are fishing for some banter and that you are above trying to play with a stupid phone whilst riding.
Be that as it may, if some ramdom dude you've never seen before walks up and punches you in the mouth, seemingly without provocation...
Ask yourself was I texting while I was riding ealier?

I like "random" It is that providence dude I have issues with.

If that random dude feels like punching me in the mouth he better have provocation dude with him. (and maybe incentive and reason too)

Hey, I'm mildly offended here, that phone cost a fortune, it's supposed to be smart and make me look all intellectual and macho.

No running off at the mouth about my phone, OK?
