I ordered mine before I even bought my new DR650 back in
'08,as I know that good things don't last forever.

Some of the things I have been able to carry on that rack
have been well beyond the scope of what is considered
normally acceptable motorcycle cargo.

It would be well worth copying for the good of DR650dom.

It's a great rack like everyone sez - holds lots of gear and if you fall (like me) it protects the signals and side panels.

it really is the best design of all time.
don't forget the klr version. that group is equally bummed.
i'd post in the big dr thread as well as the west regional thread.
there's got to be plenty in cali.
i'm moving to mexico in 2 weeks so mine is not not avail, sorry.

Is the 'BBQ rack' wider than this Moose rack?



I'm looking for something that would compliment Wolfman racks and big enough to hold a Pelican 1520.

I don't know how wide the Moose rack is,but I just went out to
the shop and measured the BBQ rack.It's 23 1/2 inches wide.

yes and sits lower/flusher to the seat...which is a good thing.
that racks sits up too high imo.
