Leith Lives!

Hi Leith!

Glad it arrived - packages take up to a couple weeks to get from my house to your house! Big shindig with 80 ADV'ers sounds like a rippin' good time.... if I'd had a couple more hours notice I coulda tried to join you guys... Your're right - how can you go wrong with a recipe like that?

My on-hand cradle supply is dwindling already and I wish I would have been able to make more before getting laid up with my hands. So, while I'm not calling it quits by any means, I should give a heads-up here and say that when my supply dries up in the next couple of weeks, I'll have a waiting list going for those who want one and can wait until I get back up to speed. It will be at least 6-7 weeks before I can use my hands the way I need to in order to make more. Nothing I can do about that. Except post this heads-up.

Thank you, Leith - and to everybody else, who have sent me posts, e-mails and PM's of support and encouragement while I get through the hand and wrist surgery challenges. It's meant a lot!

All cradle orders I have are shipped and I'm current as of this post. I have cradles made to ship, but won't be able to correspond for a short bit - I'm not ignoring you as I collect PM's here and e-mails. Will respond to all by mid-March I hope.

Thanks for all, everybody!

Thanks Dad2Bike....

I just came across this thread. I hope everything went well and you heal up quick. Summer is approaching.

MasterChief - Rally Raider!

Hello Peter,

Thank you my friend.... much appreciated. Things are progressing well enough for this sort of thing and I've been off the pain meds; just still wearing baggy sweatpants 'cause I cant work the zipper or snap on a pair of jeans yet. So, I'm the fashion trend setter of the new millenium...

(Sorry for that visual..... my bad.)

Summer is approaching, and it looks like the Montana 1000 is being reincarnated! I know you have plans for WETFest, but are you also thinking about WEST Fest again, and a return to the hinterlands of wild Montana? My future there this year is uncertain, but I am letting that candle burn and we'll see if I can't fan the flames into a brushfire.... at least I won't have to get de-noobed again, unless they change the rules! haha

Still have a few cradles left....but the handwriting on my order forms is not so hot.

Thanks for all MasterChief!

How do u do that

The surgery Stovebolt went through has caused considerable in convenience for him no doubt, but Stovey just what appendage are you using to communicate on the keyboard? Oh now thats' a bad visual.

Out of communication for a week...

Yeah Joe, I never thought my little appendage would come in so handy for work. Sure, it's been a great companion for fun and recreation, but who'd have thought it would come in this "handy?"

I'm outa here until 4/3/11, heading in to my cabin on foot and being marooned there with no comms, just my dogs. All cradles shipped that I had received payment and shipping info for. If somebody asked for one a while back, and I never heard from you since, and you decided to send a check in, and I'm not here to receive it or mail you a cradle - please don't get excited. I'll mail it on Monday April 4th.

I'll check PM's then as well, and be able to start taking orders after I get back. As my supply on hand is running low, a PM here doesn't lock you into a cradle for "right now ship." If I don't have it, I can't make more for a while until maybe May. Taking orders on fist come-first serve basis, but right now I still have a few left.

Thanks to all!

Hey Stovey! How's the wrists doing?

My cradle made it through yet another trip to Death Valley.

Here it is beside my SPOT.

I just wanted to say that I have one of Stovey's cradles. The thing is bullet proof! Might have something to do with Stovey being a class act by himself.

You really can't go wrong with is cradles guys!

My CUSTOMERS are the "Class Acts"

I just gotta say, that's it's people like Tom (Dad2bike) and Charlie, and Reed Haberer who not only make the world go 'round, but they and people like them are what makes the journey GOOD!

My wrist is coming along, last surgery a week from tomorrow - then nothing but PT in earnest and dreaming of bikes and an upcoming 25th wedding anniversary with my wife at the beach. Carrots dangling.....

I've got 60-series on hand and 78's in production.....

Thanks for everything guys! Tom, Charlie, Pete, Joe, Leith and Reed - you are the BEST!

All of youz guys - really........ I am humbled.

Let's go riding and navigating!

Thanks for the good word fellas!

PM's returned, cradles have been shipping and people are out enjoying, so I hear from the word on the street.... I had the pins removed from my wrist a couple days ago, and the doctor said I should be good to go for Baja.... which is funny because I've never been good to go down there before! (Ha...)

Looking forward to Bobzilla's Mega-podium finish in the KOTW with my cradle in his dashboard! Go, Bob, go! Another cradle off to Thailand for Gypsyrider to put through his paces, keeping my fingers crossed on that. All other orders shipped or in the process.

Thanks for all everybody.... Bill, Charlie, Tom, Josh, Bob, Dr. JM, Bryan, Bruce, Matthew..... much appreciated!

(Damn - Dad2bike's been riding the desert all winter down there! I was shoveling snow off my deck this morning still..... WTF!?)

Sincerely,

Stovey

dc4stroke,

Why, Thank You my good man....

Garmin 60 series or 78 series only. (Not for 62 series yet...)

I have a few 60's ready to go, but I'm running out and having a supply problem with Concealex (carbon fiber look-alike stuff.) If I can't solve it, I'll have Kydex for the foreseeable future, unless and until I get a line on the Concealex supply that has dried up for me.

PM if you want one. Price is $75 mailed free CONUS to ADV inmates. Must confirm order with me via PM.... then, afterward it's a check to me in the mail. No Paypal or credit cards.

Visit GPSCITY.com for your endless RAM mount options which you will need to supply on your own, if you don't already have the RAM mounting equipment:

A typical handlebar mount setup like this,
http://www.gpscity.com/ram-mount-cra...inch-ball.html

A main menu with lots of RAM mount options like this,
http://www.gpscity.com/ram-mount-cradle-mounts.html

And I am currently sporting a couple of these on the topclamp (most EXCELLENT Highway Dirtbikes topclamp and brushguards, by the way - the VERY BEST in my opinion; my hat is off to Paul Degarate of HDB in Colorado) like this,
https://www.gpscity.com/ram-mount-mo...am-b-367u.html

Good luck, and good hunting.....

Tally Ho,

Stovey
