Balance = 2 bales of shavings, two tires and a small chunk of cement. Never had both wheels off at the same time before. Makes things a tad more interesting.

What could possibly go wrong?

When I've had both wheels off, I have a jack under the skidplate and I put the front axle back in with a jack stand under it.

Almost forgot this...was in a bit of a tear but since I coasted off the Kanc on fumes thought I should fuel up in Lincoln. Remembered I was going to get a sticker to you and that you were working nights and prolly not there. Pulled in to drop one off for them to pass along then spotted your bike.

"heh heh heh" "Might be better to just go ahead and install one..."

Was going to go in but then thought it'd be more fun to just wait and see how long it took you to spot it. It was.

Clough? Sunday?

I've got a new (to me) KTM that needs to get dirty. I am contemplating going to Clough for a couple of hours at some point this weekend. I have OHRV stickers but no street plate yet so need to stay off-road. Any interest out there? I think (?) I remember how to ride a real dirt bike!?

2011 Magical Mystery Tour

Saturday/Sunday August 13th/14th.

Get lost and found again on a ride from Groton, MA following a tricky route sheet devoid of road and place names to a mystery destination somewhere else in northern New England. Camp out, party and swap "war stories" Saturday night. Find your own way home Sunday. About 240 miles, mostly paved back roads, some dirt. Mostly NEDoD folk, a number of whom are also AdvRiders.

If this sounds like something you'd be interested in, shoot me a PM or email me at squidmark@verizon.net.

Hopkinton/Everett/Clough? Sunday?

Anyone interested in riding trails? Probably Sunday... I need to try out my new 200 EXC!

Hmmm... there's an echo in here. Sorry about the double-post.

Didn't think you would be down to a single bike for long! What did you get? Something a little smaller than the 640 you just sold?

I would like to get some trail riding in this weekend but I will probably be spending the entire weekend prepping for my first RallyMoto race. My wife and I are making a vacation out of it so I need to have the sprinter set up for camping out of for a full week.

New ride...

I put the 640 Adventure up on Craigslist for what I thought was too much money. It sold in a couple of days! So yes, I decided to get a dirt only ride. Got a 2 stroke KTM 200EXC. Light, simple, and LIGHT! Maintenance is simple simple simple and it's like riding a bicycle after the big bikes I've been on lately!

Better lock the gate or some clown may swing by just to check out the new stalker van. Truck wouldn't start yesterday and the charger/jumpstart doesn't seem to phase it this morning. Told SCS the only real solution is a Sprinter van.

Don't think she bought it.

Hopkinton/Everett/Clough

I hope and plan to be at Clough/Hopkinton around 11-ish tomorrow. If anyone happens to make it I'll be on the orange bike, towed in a black open trailer by a blue/green Mazda minivan and I'll be wearing blue/white Yamaha racing duds. Man, do I clash or what!
