I cracked 18k the other day on my '11 'strom. Very proud of that. Although the first ~3k miles were done by someone else.

Still kickin' ass compared to the ~23k I put on my Bandit ... over 10 years.

In lighter news, seemed like a fine afternoon to wash the bike...

After blow drying it and having had my fill of the afternoon news I announced, "Think I'm going to take her out just to dry 'er off before dinnah..."

Two minutes up the road from here...

That's ok. It was needed.

KTM vs BMW

The BMW is so much faster.
(and twice as heavy)
Rode the KTM for two hours and only went 25 miles. Around Bow.
(power lines and class VI)
Rode the BMW for two hours and went 90 miles. Around Bow Lake.
(dirt Roads avoided class VI)

Swap meet

April 27- Saturday 10 to 3 or so.... Cole Hill rd. Standish Me. 04084. Google, Salvation Army -Camp Sebago and that will bring you by my place , I will put a sign at the end of driveway.

If you want to sell some camping/riding gear or that old GPS or trailer some bikes and parts to sell...come on over.

Or just swing by and do some shopping/bullshitting, last year was a good time and I think there was some good buys to be had.

I am going to borrow a hot-dog steamer for some gut lumber.

I won't be able to make it this year, Tim. I hope it's a good day for all!

Sounds like a great reason for me to get off my ass and clean up the garage to find all the KLR bits I have no need for anymore.

That and I am long overdue for hanging out with the ADV crowd
