Nice and clean.

Unfortunately, I didn't get many 'good' pictures. And by good I mean Skip and that Olsen dood have nothing to worry about.

A couple of Andrew...

...this was just before a killer inside pass...

...as far as you know.

Both of you are in these two...

Ready for battle...

By the end of the day I was able to get one like this...

Gonna have to practice shooting more.

"How much longer do I have to endure watching these old dudes on ugly bikes go round and round?"

She actually did much better than I thought she would up there all day.

Here you hit the bowl like they teach it!

Great day up there!

Carbs

Looking to have a rack of carburetors rebuilt. Any recommendations on where to go in the central southern VT, and NH area?

Got in a little exploring this weekend...

...at the old Redstone Quarry.

Pretty cool stuff out in the woods. The girls even admitted it was cool.

Even saw an albino porcupine up there.

Perfect weather for it Sunday.

Bugs were still huddled up wherever they go to huddle up when it gets a little chilly.

Always liked stumbling upon or seeking out old abandoned stuff like this. Back home in Idaho it mainly is all abandoned gold and silver mines/towns. It always amazes me with what they accomplished with the equipment that they had available to them, compared to what they use now.

That's the small one. The big one is in here...

Click on that image for images from a previous trip. May have to go update that...

Sadly, peeps are taking things from the site. This, for example wan't there this time...

We walked by the concrete 'column' in the background and I didn't recognise it. Looking back through the other pics I see what's missing. Believe the conveyor is also gone.

That explains the signs that are up now:

BTW, mail came today. Thank you!

True.

I look at the rubble pile and think of the effort that went in to just what they threw away!

BTW, these are what I imagine went in those lathes...

...to eventually be turned into columns...

A man has a chunk of his life into those pieces laying on the forest floor.

We should go for a ride this weekend. I'll browse through my GPS tracks to see if I can put something together.
