awesome machines

Great looking and functioning machines everyone. Not sure if this is the right forum to ask but I'll go ahead and ask...How are you guys mounting the dirtbike bars? Is it just some risers bolted through the stock upper clamp or is everyone running LSL's kit? I have a 929 and need to change the riding position a bit. Athough a fair bit cheaper, the risers would require me to drill through my stock clamp. Is this going to be structurally strong enough? It seems to me alot of the stunters go this route. I'm just worried about weakening the clamp around the hole I drill getting a violent headshake and the bolts ripping right through the clamp sending me off into space.

Thanks in advance to any replies

I just drilled through the top triple clam for mine. I never had any issue other than having to re route some cables for length. Good luck, I have always been a 929 fan!

Mine originally came with risers bolted thru, but the guy I bought it from had clip-ons. I bought some original risers and dirt bars. This allowed me to drop the forks in the triple. Those 2 changes and the recent addition of lowered foot pegs has got this bike real comfy for this 6'3" guy.
I get quite a few thumbs up while riding it.

Thank you.
It's an SV650. She has plenty of torque throughout the whole band (for me).
I plan to paint the wheels glossy black soon. It should look good with the satin black paint.

Multistrada streetfighter I built a few years back. I agree that streetfighters are built, not bought.

Updated version with a round headlight and windscreen (the original headlight never grew on me).

Great job, but my god, that seat. Looks like two-wheeled birth control to me.

i would love to make a street fighter as i dont like the riding poistion of sports bikes it would be a cheap build in my eyes fit mx bars and a new headlight and keep the sub frame untouched so i can still go 2up
