What year bandit is that? That year looks like a good starting point for what I would like to build someday. Also is there a bandit 1000 that looks the same?

no straight pipes, just looks like it. I built it with a 1.75" baffle, fully packed. Not as loud as it looks.

not mine

Spied at local bike meet (Ephrata). It's a gixxer 1K. Beautifully executed fighter.

It is a '99 (1st gen style), there is/was a Bandit 1200 and it looks almost identical to the 600, but with bigger tires, more power, aluminum instead of steel swingarm, and other details.

Bueller? Bueller? Bueller?

It is a 2006 Buell XB9SX, which the company says is a street fighter. I wanted the Ulysses but I feel short for it, so this is my compromise. 20K miles in 15 months; 5 k off pavement.

Oh come on now. The bikes were "invented" when club racers couldn't afford new bodywork for their dual headlight crashed out bikes. They'd stub them out and chop off the bent parts.

A buncha factory stock nakeds do not streetfighters make. There's a certain raw rattyness to a true streetfighter. I sold my Speed triple to a buddy and he whipped out the sawzall and started on this. I hate his guts for doing it but hey it's his bike now. He's almost got it.
