Saw this guy, not sure why but I like what's been done to it.
If only the B-King came from the factory like this.

The B-King looks like crap. I am sure it goes like hell, but looks like it fell out of a bad transformers movie knock off. That being said, that busa-fighter is less annoying to the eye. I only want a busa for one thing. That motor has many cool doner homes. http://www.zcars.org.uk/mini/index.htm

The June 08 issue of cycleworld is out. Hooligans Rule!!! The Ducati on the front page is totaly &#@$% awesome!!! The XS650 is very cool, and the Kawabusa is should have been named Busaki as it is more Hyabusa then it is ZRX1200. There is something in the issue for everyone.

A great bike but isn't it more of a standard-style sporty bike? I don't think they even had the term streetfighters back in '88 or '89, whenever the Hawk came out, though they probably had plenty of trashed GSX-Rs riding around...

I think of the streetfighter as being sportbike-based, preferably after a crash that trashed the fairings though that's not an absolute requirement, with a good amount of personal garage time fixing it back up. Generally minimal fairings, handlebars replacing the clipons, single or dual headlights, that kind of thing. I think this sets it apart from traditional standards or factory streetfighters, but as seen in the best/worst looking bike type threads a lot is up to personal interpretation...

kind of a chicken or the egg thing

sounds just like a standard...handlebars...no fairing....normal healights .....like most "streetfighters" I see around where someone yanked the fairings, bolted on a cheap headlight, a handlebar/mount, and maybe bolted on a different tail. They end up looking nearly the same but both came from a different place

now spondon framed and swingarmed streetfighters with nitrous injected transplanted engines, hand made parts, and parts from about 10 other bikes is a whole other deal
