Eh? All Of Them?

A lot easier to just provide a linky: Dalton

One of my favorites, coming south toward Sukakpak Mt around Mile 212 in July 2004 -

This one gives a little hint at the vastness of the North Slope. June 2007 -

Taken at 1:30 AM June 7, 2008, after riding through pea soup fog for almost 4 hours and finally getting above the fog, the mountains of the Brooks Range come into view -

Hard to believe this photo was taken at Mile 200 on the Dalton Hwy with the bike so clean. But somehow it managed to arrive there free of mud. This is with Sukakpak Mt as the backdrop -

All turned out fine on the way south

This was taken on the south side of Atigun, after surviving the mud and rain storm north of the Pass.

By, the way. That rain was due to "someone" on the trip north asking where all the crappy weather was. Up until then it had been almost 80 in Coldfoot and in the 50's and 60's north of Atigun Pass. Thanks again, Francis!

Took me eight trips north of Atigun before I finally got to see some muskox on the tundra -

(Doing what I can to keep this thread on the first page )

Going north, great weather! (until Francis' famous last words)

"No really, Francis. They are very tame. Go check out the baby ones, too! You'll blend in with that red jacket"
