oh yea no prob, ive been lookin for those other parts since i started restoring this bike back in january and wow this is the hardest assembly to find, i mean im sure 95% of xt550 owners have whale tailed their bike so that is the first part to bust off... so i can see why its hard to find.

rear rack

hey guys i bought a rear rack for my bike off fleabay adn it arrived on friday. i offered it up to the bike yesterday and am a bit confused... i can see that one side fixes to the muffler bracket, and the other to the subframe, but there are two other tabs which have nothing to fix to on my bike... having looked at some of the other bikes on this thread it seems like they could be meant to fix to the indicator mounts, which my bike no longer has...

could someone who has a rack fixed to their bike take a few pic's for me of the mounting pints??

thanks..

p.s. i think things are made worse on my bike by the non standard seat and rear mudguard... on that point, any ideas for other mudguards and seats that fit the 550 well??

ta.
