Stranded in Fredricksburg.

I'm with a friend stranded in Fredricksburg. He needs front wheel bearings for his 05 Kawasaki concors. Any suggestions?

Closest that I know of from where you are would be:

Village motorsports in Unionville, MFI & Coleman's in Woodbridge, or Manasas I think has a Kawi dealer ( not sure 'cause I don't that area too well, but I'm sure others can chime in).

Good luck and keep us posted.

Manassas Honda Kawasaki is the name of the shop in Manassas. It is a Honda/Kawi/Suzuki dealer.

Too bad I wasn't home, I could offer you the use of a trailer. If you need to use one this evening, PM me and I should be able to help.

Aaah, that takes me back. I lived in John Day, Oregon for several years and miss that scenery! Great riding in that part of Oregon, especially if you get off the pavement and onto the Forest Service roads.

My buddy purchased from advance Auto parts. Made it home after a weekend in

What, no alligator? The Pacific Northwet has nothing on the RLD. Nothing, absolutely nothing. . ..

Very neat write-up and pics.

WHAT?

No pointy, pyramidal/teepee tent, as seen at the Cat Herders campout?

You've entered the 21st (at least the 20th) Century, Dan?

I posted up on KLR650.net. (http://www.klr650.net/forums/showthread.php?t=110653 )

I'll be hosting a fork-a-thon on Sunday, April 14, 2013 at my home. I will be out in the garage at 0900 but show up when you want. There will be space if you have a hankering to wrench on your own bike. I'll be upgrading the front forks of my KLR 650 with progressive springs and Racetech valve emulators. You can stand around and drink my beverages and eat my food while mocking my meager wrenching skills. PM me for my address or if you have any questions.

Truth is, SweetBird and I were walking around the Fairfax Corner REI last winter and I was looking at a cool MSR tent on sale for half off. Bigger than my little hovel, two doors, could sit up in it, and two vestibules to store stuff. Packed weight not much over four pounds, and not that much bigger than said Hovel.

She said "Why don't you buy it?"

Now I don't have to do a belly crawl to get up in the morning!!

I hear you there! My left Gerbings G3 glove has been out for most of the winter but I've been too stubborn to send it back for a repair. That would mark the third time.

A few beautiful east coast outdoor shots from this winter.
