I have one in my garage. I think it was $6 shipped if you are interested. Tractor Supply might be the only place around that would have those

Better out here today too.

So, went to do some checking on Big Blue this morning. She's still on the trailer but was covered by a tarp last night.

You know the story--started right up! So now, what's the guess on the problem?

It was raining pretty hard, but not a real gully washer yesterday. When she Just Quit Running there was no warning that I could tell, no stumbling or hesitance, just an abrupt "I ain't runnin' fer you no more today!"

I'll pull the air filter a bit later to see if it got waterlogged, but I'm leaning towards water in some electrical connection somewhere . . . and not quite sure where to start. There's the motronic sensor on the top of the air filter, and other bunches of connections including the one to the fuel pump up under the fairing.

Unless anyone has other ideas I guess I'll pull the plastic off and put dielectric grease on every connection I can find.
HES almost 100%.

I have one I'll give you; alternatively, WELDING ROD HOLDERS, available at Tractor Supply Company and Home Depot, work; maybe better than the Agri-tubes; the welding rod holders have no vents, and are thus completely waterproof. Lincoln, a superior tube to Hobart's, IMHO.

Lincoln tube on bike; Hobart on asphalt:

Thats a good point. The Agri tubes do have holes on the back side.

Well, here 'tis:

TH can customize/modify this one, plugging the vent with the goop of his choice, or get a plug-'n'-play welding rod tube. Internal volumes are rather similar; I think the welding rod holder has a few more cc's, greater overall internal length.

No "right" or "wrong" choice, only . . . ANY tool tube's better than none, when you need it!

I'm certain there will be. Let us know a night that works for you & we'll see what we can do. This week is looking tight for me, but I should be around all of next week.

If you fellas want to slum with the KLR crowd down in Stafford on Sunday let me know. Coffee, snacks and lunch provided. As always, sarcastic comments, poor puns, potty humor, and overall juvenile behavior is encouraged.
