as mentioned, only one each side is necessary, so two per side indicates someone trying to solve a problem.

before worrying about torque, i would check the banjo bolt length against the dimension of the banjo/two washers plus the depth of the blind tapped bolt hole. easy enough to do, and the problem may be as simple as the bolt bottoming. the easy fix would then be to grind a little off the end of the bolt after first threading an M nut on the bolt. when you remove the nut, the threads are easily chased, and the bolt is ready for reuse.

What's really pissing me off about this is that I can't find any 16mm crush washers locally. WTF is up with that?

Better angle showing everything is all snug

are you sure the banjo bolts are the problem and not the AN fittings?

Thanks for the tip!
After I read that, I did a search for Snickersville roads and found a nifty map - "NoVA dirt roads" on this site. Good stuff.

Anyone know of a place in Stafford/Fredericksburg to go watch Saturday's MotoGP race? Dishnet would require me to upgrade to their top package to get Speed Network, and I'm too cheap for that!

PM me, in case I miss the reply. Thanks!

Hahaha. Yeah. The strom is about an inch too tall for me to be able to back it up.. I'm fine till I get to the gutter.

luckily on the Wee it's a knob out to the side of the bike. i think the sag is correct, it's just i have a 30 inch inseam and the bike is supposed to have a 31 or so inch seat height. ;) i may just have to be off the bike when leaving a driveway.. i'm fine any other time..

Ride Info

We need you. Again this year my company is leading a Bridge Ride for the American Cancer Society Relay for Life. It's a motorcycle tour through the countryside around Fredericksburg VA, designed to go over or under as many bridges as possible. The $$ come from the riders either donating or collecting pledges for each bridge we cross. The only rule is every rider has to generate some kind of donation (last year we did 60 bridges and raised over $2,500). Other than that, it's open to anyone - employees, friends, customers, passengers, any bike, anybody who can safely handle an intermediate-level ride of 4 to 5 hours, including several butt breaks. We'll stay off major highways and aim for twisty country roads; relaxed pace, but RAIN OR SHINE, we still go. ALL proceeds go to our Company Relay for Life team.

The 2013 Bridge Ride is the afternoon of Thursday 9 May, so now is the time to sign up to ride, to pledge, or to donate. I'll update the list of riders as it builds so you know who to pledge, or you can reply to this message with your pledge or donation. Again , we need you to make this even better than last year! Thanks for making a difference

Please PM me with your Name and email so we can pass you more info.
