Question Need seat re-covering recommendation

Admire the black brute's weatherproof, reinforced, highly puncture-resistant Adventure Seat Cover!

Now, as envious as you all must surely be, unbelievably, I'd like to downgrade the beast to a regular normal seat cover--mainly so the other motorcycles in the parking lot don't keep thinking it's a knife-wielding hobo and wetting themselves with coolant. Underneath this meticulously custom-fitted cover is a Corbin saddle with modesty issues.

Can anyone recommend an outfit near Falls Church (Tysons) that can do me a driver & passenger seat re-covery operation? Anything fancier than Durable Matte Black is just frippery; and faster is better because the beast gets even surlier when not ridden.

Thanks!

Seems like a DIY task that wouldn't break the bank.

If not into that, I'd try calling Crossroad Cycle in Bailey's Crossroads and ask them for suggestions. They often work on custom jobs and fabrication and could likely give you some good local suggestions if they don't do it themselves.

Just called them. They do work on motorcycle seats. $90 hourly rate though seems steep. You could send it off and have it rebuillt for something in the price range I'd imagine you'd end up.

You might also try Sure-Fit in Arlington, they do autos but not sure if bikes too.

That seat cover has the makings of a KLR owner all over it!

right on!

Thanks everyone for the ideas. I'm making the calls and getting in touch now to check out the options.

Meanwhile...LED tail light unit and turn signals to be hooked up this weekend; new front master cylinder and a set of SS brake lines all around are on order. Maybe the beast can be persuaded to stop after all. Onward!

Due to his actions, this criminal delayed the opening of the first brewery in Manassas. Please keep an eye out for this scum

You can also check out Bedo Leather, located right in Falls Church on Broad St.

Cheers.

George at Beemers Uber Alles in Manassas is fantastic--but sticks mostly to beemers and Urals. Still worth your dropping by to chat. You could again risk using me as a referral . . .

Heard excellent things about Khan, but never went there.
I will vouch for both George and Khan, great independent mechs, both willing to go the extra mile to save you a few bux And get the job done right. They often can fit you in with quick repairs while you wait though I do recommend calling ahead, makes it easier for both you and them as they can be pretty busy at times or on the road or not have the part right in stock.
