i told him free range with my Vstrom if he needed it. he sounded in good spirits.
That sucks. I am really glad that he's OK and that the bike is repairable. That's a rare one.

Commuters are certainly aggressive around here. Did the person stop, or was it a hit and run?

Cool and close...

This morning my 14YO son and I loaded up the Jeep and trailer with the DR200 and Honda Trail 90 and hit the Freezeland & Fire Trail Road, Blue Mtn. Rd area. We did breakfast at the Apple House in Linden (and of course grabbed a dozen apple/cinn donuts to go-made fresh right there) and on to the gravel after that.

The jeep showed that it was 10F cooler on the ridge than in Manassas....ahh...we had a great ride!

thanks guys.

person driving did stop. had to pull the bike out from underneath i think? not quite sure. the hospital "said" that the arm isn't broken, but he could barely move it today and has a doc appt. tomorrow.

FAW3: what time did you head out?

What time should the beating begin?

Baseball bats? Chains? Lead pipes?

I am thinking we all meet at the offending driver's home and "convince" him to admit that he did wrong and that public transportation should be his regular means of transportation.

figured I put this here also for yall to give me any input on the Piedmont area of VA.

Culpeper VA questions

OK, so I came to you guys last fall with questions about moving to Richmond VA and yall were awesome with the responses and input.
Thank you for that
Well that move did not happen and yet another possibility has arised again in the commonwealth. This time in Culpeper Virginia.
So once again I need any input or thoughts of those in the area that have any knowledge.
If I did have the job it would be about a month or so before moving down from Maine.
Looks like a 10 hour drive 1 way, so not too bad.
Thanks in advance.

I live and work within the beltway and commute by bike and after having had a few close calls I've decided to get a helmet camera. I realize I might be in an accident where the other person denies responsibility, or stuff just happens... and the camera can help in these cases.

Great videos Goes to show you it's always something. This is the crap we deal with daily if you bicycle or ride a bike in the area. Someday I'd consider getting one of those...I'm sure I'd capture all kinds of near misses right and left within a span of a week. Always getting closed off by buses in the bike lane

To be fair, a lot of that is in the District. And if it's during rush hour, it's as bad as it gets. Of course, we have some of the most crowded roads in the nation around here so it's never all that much better, either.

There was Peach Shine on the roof...that is all

Ya'll missed the ghetto bird chasing a suspect a block away and all the police cruisers in the hood. Good times
