Ohhh NOVA traffic, how I do not miss thee!

Nothin' but smooth sailing down here in Madison county!

Y'all have fun tonight at the gathering; it's one of the few things that I miss about not living up there anymore.

Oooooo a ruckus ride! I would love that.

And I'm just imagining how much better the Black Beast will ride with its idle fixed up AND this terribly heavy growler of Schwarzerbier all nice and empty.

I have this pair of Triumph heavy gloves I bought back out in NM when I had the Tiger. They are wind and waterproof. I love them.

Except for the speed trap on 29 outside the Highschool.

The only strong impression I have of Madison County...

My office has its own parking garage but it's $15/day for bikes and cars alike, which is ridiculous. Also, don't get me started about the speed cameras.

Probably the best commute I had was when I rode my bicycle to work. Free parking, exercise, maybe I should do that again.
Normally, I drive with my wife because a) we live in Pentagon City so even in rush hour traffic it's 20 min and b) she has free car parking at her work, 5 blocks from my office.

She may be losing this gig in the next few weeks though, so I will have to make other arrangements

Yeah, you gotta stay off Rt 29, that's the revenue collection corridor!

As a UVA Alum, I subsidized your taxes for four years!

Actually, I mainly watched my friends get hit and drove through Madison County (and Greene County) really slowly and pissed off.

I'm sorry, I don't mean to laugh at your ( and that of your friends) misfortune, but having grown up around here and now back again living in the area, I can fully sympathize with you!

Luckily though, the speed traps spots really haven't changed in the last 20 years, so once you know where they are, you just slow down as you approach them and speed back up afterwards!

No worries. I understand that as a Northern Virginia resident UVA student, my primary purpose in life was to enrich the communities through which I passed Speeding tickets were a form of community service.

I basically drove exactly the speedlimit from when I left Albemarle County until I got to Culpepper County.

And over privileged college students in brand new 4Runners or BMWs that were bought for them by rich parents/grandparents who insist on doing 20 over through a school zone (as two of my friends did, one in a 4Runner, one in a BMW) are not really deserving of sympathy

I decided to wimp out and take Chasey... I'll give specifics when I show up; leaving from National's Stadium, be there around 6pm.

I don't mind DC traffic.... I just filter through it.

The main reason I went with a topcase and not saddlebags.
