I certainly don't miss the commute from Annapolis to DC. Now my commute is 5 minutes. As soon as my HHE arrives I'll either pedal to work or ride the KTM.

Made it home with no deer incident... I'm sleepy. Matt and Mike thank you for another successful ride to wrench and drink and eat and watch a 250 oil change.

If you guys do this again in November, you have room for a trailer? I am pretty sure my KLR will not have been started in 6 months (the Bandit had all fuel removed so I know it hasn't been started).

I'm missing all the good weather. I'll get back just in time to freeze my ass off. Its a good thing I got my Gerbings jacket repaired. Now I just need to order those big ass mitts from Canada to put over the grips.

Awesome time as always guys! As much as I may complain about how much it sucked living there at times, I do miss all the good people that live up that way; and hence why I decided to take the time to come up unannounced!

Matt, thanks for the invite to crash if needed; I'll take you up on that offer another time I come up.

It was great to meet a few new people and see some of the same 'ole FFs! Looking forward to seeing a few of you this weekend.

Dr. Beard and HBN - I had a really nice time. Thank you for putting this together and for the good food and beer. And just to echo everyone else, I enjoyed meeting new faces.

Apparently Mike took the gator on the way to work.

Hey Blixa: You should grab this tag. We talked about this place last night.

I have been away for a few days and just catching up on this thread.

On the heated grips versus gloves debate, I say get the grips first and the gloves later (if needed.)

You can use the gloves all through the year where the gloves can only keep you warm if you bring them. And they make great glove dryers for rainy days. (Who brings heated gear with them in August for those cool rainy days, anyway)

FWIW, Morton's BMW will be having a sale on Gerbings gear AND will be giving away free ice cream:
