Warren County issues you a sticker when you first register your vehicle. I would have thought all counties would adopt this policy as it saves our money.

Arlington likes to send police onto private property checking to make sure stickers are current. They then write tickets which I am sure more than pay for the cost of annual stickers.

Fuckers.

Google purchased Waze. Works great for traffic and speed traps.

Picked up an R6 from the middle lane of 50 west of 66 tonite. Lady rider went down and slid a ways ending up in the right lane in front of the CRV that stopped. Didn't see the accident. She had a little rash on he right arm and could not get up on her one leg. I got her bike squared away and her keys as the ambulance arrived then split. If you know a red head who has/had a black helmet and white R6 let me know how she's doing.

You should all move into DC.

Pay the fee every other year and no annual inspection. No stickers either.

Yeah, but they get you back with sheer incompetence or petty corruption (hard to tell sometimes) everywhere else. A friend of mine ended up nearly having to sue the city when they threatened to garnish his wages for back income taxes accrued in 2007. He didn't move to DC from Chicago until January of 2009, and had never lived in DC before. They were trying to extort some sort of settlement from him I think.

Free time?

Thanks to our GOVT, I too have some "free" time on my hands. Does anybody else have "fee" time for a short (2-3 hours) ride sometime? As much as I want to go back to work, the extra time is helping out. I am in Ashburn and we just moved here in the last couple of months. Still looking for some good roads. Route 7 and 15 seem good. Any and all suggestions are welcome.

R/ David

Look up Blue Ridge Mountain Road and Snickersville Turnpike for some fun local roads, I hit them up as part of an after work loop.

a loop that ive been wanting to try is 7 West, to Blue Ridge Mountain Road, down to 50 East, up Snickersville Turnpike, and back onto 7, going east to head home to ashburn(and most likely stopping by the Doner Bistro in Leesburg as an after ride lunch )
