I hope you caught it in time and the pup is okay.

Good on you for keeping your head above water.

A Bit of Seasonal Cheer . . . .

. . . . in scenery photos. SweetBird and I spent Thanksgiving in Phoenix with her mother (father has Alzheimer's, in a memory care facility . . . ). On our way back we came through Death Valley late in the afternoon then spent the night in Lone Pine.

Zabriskie Point

Sunrise in Lone Pine

Same view in B&W

Just north of Lone Pine

This area's so pretty; I'd like to get back that way again.

Looks like it was made in either 1982 or 1994. Either way, that's pretty old
Most places are running sales right now. Getting it delivered promptly may be another question though...

Well, the top half of the fridge is not really chilled, but the bottom is quite cold. Its still working enough that its not the emergency I had thought it was. i'm planning on shopping for one next week. I need a semi-retro looking one without breaking the bank by buying a proper retro one that costs $4k

A new refrigerator, with its much higher efficiency will end up saving you more than than you spent, over the course of its life.

Not that is does not suck to put out the cash for something like a refrigerator.
