I hadn't thought of that. Definitely something I will consider. Thanks for the tip.

The little Tao Tao 50cc made it in through the cold but had a hard time with headwinds

NWS temperature calculator places the feels like temp for a 40mph ride today at -40*F Only casualty was cold fingers currently being warmed up by Gevalia Majestic blend

5 degrees on the am commute. Good times, good times.

Learned a bit about the HH -- wore regular gloves, which worked wonderfully with the grips set on low, moving with traffic, until I hit the city, and had to use the controls. Word to the wise, levers aren't heated.
Another 10 minutes and I'd have had frostbite. Will be returning wearing the winter gloves this pm. . ..

The Rebel Alliance's vehicles just can't cope with this cold

Long johns, jeans, insulated Columbia snowboard pants (in lieu of my padded Stitch pants), insulated boots, wool socks, wool sweater, down jacket, Stitch' Jacket, BMW Winter Gloves, knit cap and balaclava inside slightly large modular helmet.

Come on it's not so bad I had trouble starting the scooter yesterday but also figured they drive these around Korea and China all year round and their temps often dip way below this. Started second push of the starter this morning though I was worried about carb icing but didn't have any issues likely because of how shielded it is in the bodywork.

I am sorry about the cold weather.

It is all my fault.

I got new boots for Christmas.

Fingertips got a bit chilly this morning. Fog inside the helmet kept freezing...

I think sub zero temps may be a bit extreme for me. Was interesting though!

You could take on the apocalypse in that get-up and come out unscathed.

I put on the Weather Channel after waking up and they were doing a report from my metro station. I was like oh hell no. I was feeling proud of myself for being one of the few to metro in on my line this morning, but after reading these posts, not so much anymore

I discovered that lever issue a couple weeks ago. I sense a potential niche that needs to be filled! Too bad my winter gloves are in the unheated garage right now
