Anyone in the vacuity of Lorton Prison with a 4wd? I got my little Toyota stuck in the mud.

You still stuck? I don't think my car would fare well in the mud, but I can ask around.

How close are you to good ground? I can give a pull but don't have mud tires. Plenty of rope and chain though.

In Arlington, so it might take me a bit to find you.

Just made it out. Tow truck got stuck getting me out. Lol. Overestimated my little Toyota.

Thanks for the support!

Glad to hear you got out. If it stuck the tow truck, my efforts would undoubtedly have ended in tears.

Good!

Yet, don't forget the cautionary tale sung by the Kingston Trio, of "Charlie on the MTA."

The unfortunate Charlie boarded a Boston subway car, but lacked a nickel for his "exit fee," thus the chorus commemorates his fate:

CORRECTION: Map is obsolete; Yellow line extends to Springfield DURING RUSH HOUR.

Weekend schedule to motorcycle show: Blue line to Red/Yellow/Green to Mount Vernon Square station, as previously posted.

Ended up at Huntington Station. Free parking and quicker. On the way home the 95 backup sent us down Telegraph Road. Ate at a good pizza place across from Hayfield High school.

Cool!

Saw the # 75 at the Triumph display; is that a TR5?

No matter; noticed big and little V-stroms (your cycle of choice) at the manufacturer's booth.

Enjoyed the show; lots of attendees having a good time.

The engine is from a TR6(single carb 650cc), either a Tiger or a Trophy.

Sorry I didn't see this earlier. However, since my wife had the Landcruiser, I couldn't have gotten you until today. Hopefully the tow wasn't too much $$$.

Dr. [xxxx] is a motorcyclist, too!

MENTION "MOTORCYCLE INJURY," AND THE STAFF WILL GIVE YOU PRIORITY IN AN APPOINTMENT!

Best wishes.
I have been treated by this orthopaedic surgeon, and his father before him, for 30 years. Knows his stuff; been there, done that!

Free riding pants!

Thanks to a good sale at New Enough, I currently have a surplus pair of motorcycle overpants. They are Cortech by Tour Master. They are (non ventilated) black nylon. If your waist is more than a 34 they won't fit. I wear 34 and I usually pop the fly open if I move the wrong way. They have armor in the knees and foam padding at the hips. I have had these about 7 years(1 of those years was spent in Iraq, 1 in the UK) but they are still in very good condition. I have never crashed in them. They could deal with a spin in the washing machine. They will not be waterproof.

If you are riding in jeans because you can't afford a pair of protective pants and these will fit you, shoot me a PM. First come first served. Pants are in Manassas.
