elnonio, that explains why you fabricate your own heated gear... I have perused their website several times. Especially after destroying a stock front and rear wheel on the Hacked KLR. Nice stuff. Let me know if you need a big hammer and steel drift to install those things.

NEW.. but not at home

Just moved to VA from living in S.Korea.. my wife wanted to go to school here so I was dragged along for the ride. unfortunately, I was not able to find employment so I did what comes natural to me and went back oversees to work. I hope my luck will change and be able to come back to VA , beltway area and start to ride again.

I ride a Ducati MS and have a put put Tmax that I relaxed on when living in S.Korea

Hope to do some riding with some folks..

Cheers..

Tell you what, those rims are SWEET.

Steering is quicker; they do say the wheels are lighter than stock, and let me tell you, that rear hub looks REALLY light.

Dumb me, I forgot to weigh the stock rims before I sent them out to them as a trade in, but I'm pretty sure the new rims are lighter.

How are you planning on going to March Moto Madness? Plan to trailer? I've asked for a pass, and it sounds I just might get it. I can fit 2 bikes in the trailer...

I'm taking the hacked KLR. Can you fit that on your trailer? I'm shopping for a trailer this week. Something that could hold the hack and maybe two other bikes. I don't mind hauling the toys if I get the right trailer.

the hack? That might not work. I have an enclosed trailer, and it's really set up for one bike, but of course can fit 2. But on the other hand, the Excursion can tow whatever you throw at it.

Anyway, we have time to talk. I'll drop by to show off the rims one of these days.

My GS was unhappy sitting in the garage over the last week without running. It didn't want to start yesterday so a few hours on the tender seemed to work magic. Fortunately, the scooter is still kicking ass...slowly.

An appropriate new years resolution for you would be to have 75% of the internal combustion engines in your garage starting reliably at any one time.

Admittedly, I don't satisfy that criteria since my recent acquisition, and I don't have half the engines.

Wait, are you currently in VA looking for riding buddies, or did you just leave VA and are wistful because you have to find them again. I am confused...

I think he moved to VA, but then immediately had to move back to S. Korea to work.

Bubbasducati - give a shout next time you're in the DC-area. I hear the Mid-Atlantic Ducati Club does a bunch of track days and other meets in the area, which may be up your alley. There are usually rides and "rides to eat" posted on ADV in the SE forum. Welcome and good bye and maybe welcome again?

Oh and btw - if you miss any home cooking, there are lots of great Korean restaurants in Annandale...

How timely... Just found out today that 4 out of 10 available billets for my summer move are in NE Asia, and 3 of those in Korea...

Not a bad place to be. My dad met my mom when he was stationed over there.
