Humm... Looks like more pull-back than I want.

I really just want the "U" the bars make down to the clamp to be deeper, and keep the other angles the same, raising the plane of the hand grips up.

Guess that means risers. Good thing I haven't ordered a new brake line, as I believe the additional height plus routing constraints imposed by the handguards mean a longer line with a more tightly bent banjo fitting.

At least the fork boots worked out.

[quote=bmwew1A case of ur favorite beer as payment?

And since this is ADV, I expect that to be in the PBR, The Beast, or Old Milwaukee family of finely crafted beers...[/quote]

I thought you were asking for help?

That's not how you get it...

You should have offered Black Label or Schlitz malt liquer...

I can't help you with the Doohicky. I don't even know what part it is or how to fix it...
Better beer will result in better responses!

I have doohickey tools and experience, just make sure you have the parts and gaskets.

So Rox Risers look like the solution:

Will let me keep my stock top clamp in the same place, avoiding ignition key issues.

Naturally nobody stocks these in the NoVA area so I get to wait another week. *sigh*

Almost didn't make it. Ended up running .5hr late so I missed VAcommuter, decided to check out the local area instead. It was cold, wet and miserable but I managed over 100 miles.

Looks like temps will be in the 80s toward the end of the week. Maybe the better weather will increase the odds of a good sized group ride.

Yeah, it was almost miserable this morning once it started raining. Definitely ready to start riding more.

anyone looking for an exotic trials bike? Yes, then check out the DC craigslist for this, I have no connection to the seller, just saw it that's all.
