it looks a little greenish doesn't it? If it is greenish it is very nice also and the seat is great....I really liked the flat black but I'm afraid it will become very scratchy after a few months , I'd also go with a clear coat over the paint for protection. Hmmmmm decisions decisions......if I reacall , yours is the same color as mine right? (iceburg).

I'm trying to find a thread of this guy who photshoped almost 10 different colors , again I can't find it, maybe we can ask him to make a few photoshop of the 650 for us to see ... unless you are good with photshop lol

Nope not I, but I definitely respect the photoshop skills of others! A lot of photoshopped photos come with the BMWMOA tag on them and I poked around for a few minutes a long time ago on the bmmoa site but couldn't find anything. Either way, I'll see what comes of my painter friend. See how I like a gloss black or something and then decide if I want that snorkel bad enough...

Looks to me it's pretty straight foward . I don't think you need anything else than the panels to make the conversion. I was at my bmw dealer yesterday morning and examined the 800panels and the only thing I saw that would need a mod is the relocation of blinkers . There is already a place on the 800panles to put them back on (no hardware needed) .Maybe just re-wire. My concern is that the blinkers are fixed on the edges of the panel and seams to me they could get dammaged and crack the blinker mount (witch is the panel itself) if you fall offroad.

Well i did go that route, and i was lucky cause i found a place here in Sweden that sells used bikeparts and they happened to have a few parts from a yellow/black f800 so i ordered left and right side for a total of 1800:-(240$) and got the black beakextender for free. I thotght it was a good deal, one side costīs 3700:-skr (about 493$)

Will hopefully get the partīs next week, should be a fun projekt together with the engine bars, skid plate and Puig screen i got from the bay.

a little update on the project, got the panels today and i must say they do look great in yellow and black but i donīt want to repaint the rest of the stock panels so iīm just going to do the little yellow part in the stock red that is on my 658. Will test fit the partīs this weekend and i have orderd a few small items that i didnīt get from the used partīs seller (se above in this tread) hopefully this will be a pretty straight forward swap.

I talked to them and they hava just one left (right side with a little scratch on the black) and they do ship to other countries, buy it and look for the other side on e-bay. Where are you from by the way?
